Why We Built This Site
Indiana gives the public access to many court records, but the route depends on the record. Steuben County uses Circuit Court and Superior Court, with the Clerk of the Circuit Court as the local record keeper. Some case data is found through MyCase. Some documents, certified copies, older files, and payment questions still require the Clerk's Office at the Steuben County Judicial Center in Angola.
The same split applies outside the courthouse. Jail custody records are searched through sheriff and statewide jail tools. Marriage licenses use the Clerk and a state marriage lookup. Driver records are held by the Indiana BMV, while court traffic records remain with the court and Clerk. This site brings those separate official paths into one local reference.

- We cannot issue certified copies of any court document or vital record
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now
Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from that office.
